Education Programs at Northside Neighborhood House
For Children:
Children's after-school activities include completing homework, tutoring in reading, working on academic-based computer programs and free time focused on developing social skills and self-esteem. Our program director works in the school with teachers and administrators monitoring students' social and academic progress. Our eight-week summer program focuses on maintaining academic skills and recreation. Counseling is offered to parents as needed.

For Adults:
Adult's weekly meetings present information and/or speakers on health, safety, family relationships and other topics of interest. Adults also work on crafts, ceramics and quilting one day a week. Adult GED classes are also offered in collaboration with RE:START the Center for Adult Education.
