ABOUT NNH

For over 85 years, Northside Neighborhood House has been a service organization focused on providing assistance to our neighbors and friends.

Everyone needs a little help sometimes.

We are the agency that provides the community with the ability to give individuals and families in need "a hand-up, not a hand-out."

Please join us in our efforts to show our neighbors that they are not alone.

Thrift Store

Who doesn't love a great bargain? When shopping or eating in the Northshore area, stop by our fantastic Thrift Store - absolutely the best prices in the neighborhood! Want more good deals....make the short drive to Signal Mountain Road to visit our new Thrift Store, opened in January 2010! Our goal is to provide nice, quality clothing and other items at an affordable cost to the public.

Located at 209 Minor Street and 241 Signal Mountain Road, gently used clothing and household items donated by the public can be purchased Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

We are always looking for the next item that will be someone's new treasure!

Contributions are received with gratitude Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:15 pm and Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Larger items including furniture can be picked up at the donor's home if needed. Please call the Northside Neighborhood House at 423.267.2217 to set up a time.

When a need is verified by American Red Cross, CADAS, Chattanooga Endeavors, other partner agencies, or Northside Neighborhood House Social Worker, clothing and/or items are made available at no charge.
