Sometimes unexpected emergencies happen in life, whether it’s an unforeseen medical cost or the loss of a job. Our Stability Program offers a hand-up to families and individuals when they need it most. Working in partnership with other agencies across Hamilton County, Northside Neighborhood House is focused on improving access to education and opportunities to help neighbors of all ages thrive.
Direct Assistance
We help neighbors navigate unexpected challenges while building long-term stability. Our Stability Program provides support like rent, utilities, prescriptions, emergency food, school supplies, and holiday toys. We also offer empowerment programs including computer classes, cooking classes, our THDA-certified Good Tenant Workshop, and job readiness support to help individuals gain skills and move forward with confidence.
Community Schools
Through Community Schools, Northside Neighborhood House offers students and families access to its services.
- Individual student support throughout the day (individual mentorship, group sessions, academic help, etc.)
- Stability support: rent and utility assistance
- Access to NNH food pantry and school Care Closets
CEAP
CEAP gathers monthly to network, address community needs, and share valuable resources in Hamilton County, TN. Open to all, our meetings occur every second Wednesday from January to November, 9:30 am to 10:30 am. No organizational affiliation is required.
